Overton Terrace is accessed up a few steep steps from the footpath and Coastwatch Cottage is central to a row of eight houses elevated on a shared terrace with private benches overlooking the sea. Three steps up from the terrace level, the front door leads into the lounge, a bright south facing sitting room with glorious views over the harbour and beyond. There are two 3-seater sofas (one with recliners), a nest of tables and a large TV and Blu-ray player and selection of family DVDs. This cosy room is completed with an electric fire in the fireplace and ambient lighting - a great room for all the family.
A small step up leads to the stairs and through to the dining room where six people can be seated at a round glass topped table. There is a dresser unit complete with a collection of ornamental teapots and a DAB radio, cupboards below provide space for toys, jigsaws and family board games. A bespoke bookcase houses tourist information folders and maps with an array of fiction and non-fiction books suitable for all ages. A built in cupboard provides space for a vacuum cleaner, ironing board, laundry basket and high chair. Clothes airers and umbrellas have also been provided. Under the stairs, we have equipped a space for your outside coats, etc, with hooks, shoe rack and a mirror.
Step up again to the kitchen, with engineered oak flooring (common to all ground floor rooms). There are plenty of floor and wall cupboards with lots of workspace and a generous collection of pans, crockery and cutlery. There is a fridge freezer, a fan oven with gas hob, dishwasher, microwave, 4 slice toaster and a kettle. Some cupboards have been purposefully left empty for your own food. The back door leads to a small courtyard with a washing line and a store housing the washing machine and tumble dryer. There are steps leading up to the back gate and refuse bin.
